Paper Mache Vase Gallery

This is our paper mache vase gallery. Click on the thumb nail or the title of the piece to see a larger image and to read about how it was made.

Metallic Look Paper Mache Vase

Annemarie made this large paper mache vase from old packing boxes that were left over from the big CPM HQ move.

It looks great with a bunch of dried grasses and twigs in it.

It's fairly simple to make too.

Brown Paper Mache Pot

This was a simple vase to make. It was decorated with textured paint and a twist of paper made to look like a rope round it's edge.

Paper Mache Flower Vase

Annemarie was experimenting with different ways to make vases using balloons when she came up with this idea.

We called it the flower vase - I know, we're so inventive with our names, aren't we:)

Paper Mache Sand Vase Our Sand Pot is quite large and heavy.

It needed lots of layers of paper to take the weight of the sand it's decorated with.

This is in a private collection and is filled with dried grasses and flowers which looks very effective.

Zebra Paper Mache Vase The Zebra Pot was created using an old CD and a football.

This was also an experiment as regards decoration.

We had a couple of surprises but it turned out well in the end.

Paper Mache Large Vase This is our Large Vase. A very well thought out name, I know

I really enjoyed making this one despite the hassle we had decorating it.

It was created to look like it was made from wooden panels. I think we did a good job of getting that effect as someone actually asked if it was made from antique wood.

Paper Mache vase - Distressed Design We called this one the Distressed Pot because the finish gives it a slightly worn out look.

The effect is very easy to create and we got a lot of favourable comments on it when we exhibited it at a craft show.
