Paper Mache Frame
Custom Made for the Painting

Making paper mache frame is the perfect way to create one that is perfect for your artwork.

Paper Mache Frame

This one was made specially for an abstract watercolour of a canyon that Annemarie had painted. The painting originally hung in a clip frame while we studied it and decided what to make for it.

We eventually decided on a frame covered with Hessian (hemp) with an external mounting done in a colour to compliment the painting.

We actually built this frame around the original clip frame. The beauty of using paper mache is that it adds very little weight when you're building round an existing frame.
