KidZone is all about paper mache crafts for kids. Super fun projects to keep the young ones happy for hours.
Are weekends and school holidays a bit of a nightmare in your home? Do the kids get bored and need something fun and creative to keep them occupied?
Well, this is the section of the site for you. Over the next few months, we will be working on several projects that the kids will love, and this is where they'll be.
If there is anything specific you'd like to make with your kids, but don't know where to start, give us a shout over at the our contacts page and we will try to get your project up in KidZone as soon as we can.

The Projects
We love to see kids getting involved with paper mache, but we think they should be encouraged to get outdoors as much as possible too. How about getting out and about to collect exciting things to decorate your PM projects? Dry autumn leaves, interesting bits of tree bark, fallen seeds and even shells, if you live by the sea, make lovely decorations for PM pots and vases.
Or if you really want to get down to nature you could try some different crafts? How about joining Gem, Iain and James for some super nature crafts?

I highly recommend that all children's projects are supervised by a responsible adult.
I have to confess that neither Annemarie or I have children of our own so if we miss any obvious safety precautions, that's probably why.
My only experience with kids is my four year old niece and, while she might be better with a computer mouse than I am, I still wouldn't trust her to wield a pair of scissors on her own.
I'm hoping to try out a few of the projects for older kids with some of my friend's children. He knows me quite well though, so he may not let me loose with them unsupervised;)
