Miscellaneous Paper Mache Art Gallery

This is our miscellaneous paper mache art gallery. Some of the works were commissioned and others were made just for fun.

To see a larger image and to read more about how the pieces were made, click on the title or the thumbnail.

Paper Mache Side Table

This is a paper mache table that Annemarie made out of cardboard boxes and strip paper mache.

It's really sturdy and is a great place to stick my coffee mug.

Paper Mache Rainstick

This paper mache rainstick looks and sounds as good as the real thing.

It's really easy to make your own too.

Paper Mache Candlestick

This is our paper mache candle holder that Annemarie made out of a recycled plastic container.

paper mache sunflower picture

These paper mache sunflowers were commissioned and are now in a private collection in the UK. We used pulp to make the 3 dimensional image.

paper mache surfboard

This is our paper mache surfboard. We use it as a notice board for sticky notes.

We couldn't resist decorating it with the South African flag. I just love the colours and the World Cup being held in SA when we did it made us both homesick.

Paper Mache Flower Wall Hanging

This paper mache flower wall hanging is truly recycled art.

It's made from plastic water bottles and old newspapers.
