Issue #17, 10th November 2011

Welcome to the November issue of Trash to Treasure. This month we have the first of several Festive projects for you to try out.

In this issue:

  • 1. Latest News
  • 2. Your Art
  • 3. Christmas Angel Tutorial
  • 4. Coming Up In December's Trash to Treasure

1. Latest News

Well, we're still ridiculously busy here at CPM HQ, hence another late e-zine. Our Ellie is all crated up and ready to go to his new home in Zambia. We're just waiting for someone to come and pick him up to take him to the airport for his flight.

Hopefully we will get some photos of him in his new abode as soon as he's settled in.

I'm also in the process of editing my second novel, which is keeping my PM on the back burner a little bit. I do have a new project that I'll be starting soon though. We're going to make a paper mache Greyhound to raise funds for retired racing Greyhounds in our area.

One of my clients has just adopted one and he's so adorable I just can't help myself. I NEED to make a Greyhound:)

2. Your Art

Thanks go to Sue from Australia for sharing her lovely Tall Pots. This really is recycling at its best. They look super and would make a great addition to your own home, or a gift for someone special.

You can see them over at the website.

Thank you, Sue. They're brilliant.

4. Paper Mache Christmas Angel Tutorial

This month's project is a lovely paper mache angel for your Christmas tree, or to use as a Christmas table ornament. It's a fun and easy project for the kids to get involved with too.

We'd love to see yours if you decide to have a go at making one.

You can download it here.

5. Coming Up Next Month

Next month's issue will have more seasonal goodies for you to make in the run up to the Festive Season. There will also be news of a change of format that's coming up for the New Year.

Remember, if you'd like to share some of your art with us, ask a question, or just get in touch, details of how to are below.

That's all for this month.

Happy creating until next time,

Karen and Annemarie x
