Issue #18, 19th December 2011 Welcome to the last issue of Trash to Treasure for 2011. This month we have two more seasonal projects for you, a rustic star for your Christmas tree and a festive platter for those delicious holiday cookies or chocolates. We're a little light on news this month as we've been busy doing other things. However, from next month we will be making some major changes to the way we bring you our latest news and updates. First of all, the newsletter will be going out at the end of the month rather than the beginning. You may have noticed that we have had difficulty getting it out on the 1st for a while now, so this will resolve that problem. We won't have a fixed date for the publication, but it will be in the last week of the month. We're still working on the format it will take, but we'll have all it all figured out by the January issue. One thing we can guarantee is that there will still be a free monthly tutorial delivered to your inbox for as long as you choose to remain on the mailing list. I hope you have enjoyed the projects over the last year, and will continue to enjoy those that we have planned for the future. Paper Mache Festive Tutorial This month's projects are a rustic star and a festive platter. We'd love to see yours if you decide to have a go at making them. You can download the tutorial here. All that remains is to wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season, whatever you celebrate. Best wishes, Karen and Annemarie x Getting in Touch If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us via our contact form or through the Facebook page. If you have something you'd like to submit to the site, please fill in the submission form on the site. We'd love to see it. To keep up with the latest happenings in between issues, we have a Facebook fan page which you're welcome to join, and take part in. We'd love to see you there. Our tutorial is in PDF format and requires Adobe Reader to view it. You can get a free copy by going to their website if you don't already have it. |
